Bigger. Better. Faster. Stronger.

Bigger. Better. Faster. Stronger | Chispa Magazine“You’re a girl. I wouldn’t expect you to do that…”

“Most likely he’ll win.”

“A woman’s work place is the kitchen.”

Yeah, yeah, yeah. What is this, the 50’s? We’ve heard it all before. The degrading remarks about whether or not “we’re good enough” for the task. The “put downs” simply because we are [women].

We all remember that old commercial with the song “Anything you can do, I can do better. I can do anything better than you!” The little girl was teasing the boy because even though she was a girl it didn’t stop her from surpassing him in many aspects. She knew, even at that young age, that women are just as smart and talented as a man.

Society, as a whole, has yet to revive the negative perception of a woman, despite the numerous examples of woman who rise above the stereotypes of not being able to mount up to something greater! Woman are without a doubt the most influential and powerful beings in the world. We have beauty, style, grace, and elegance. With so much probable influence, the only thing we lack as a whole is the mindset to actually surpass those of the opposite sex.

When thinking of most high end businesses and companies, who do we see reigning at the top? Some guy with a beard, serious face, and a steamed black tie. Typical. Instead of brainstorming a master plan to get to where he is, we become content and satisfied that we even get to work for him. But that will surely change. C’mon ladies, we can and will do it!

As goals are set and are eventually met, it’s inevitable to remain at a standstill. Life is in a constant shift. A goal shouldn’t be looked at as something that is super hard to reach and when you do reach it, you’re just done. But it should be looked at as a simple checkpoint that you check off to get to the greater checkpoint with better benefits!

As little girls, our dreams were so enormous! Sometimes enormous enough to where they might have seemed impossible. How many of us have obtained our childhood dreams? Or are on the way to making those dreams a reality? Many of us aren’t able to raise our hands. We cannot forget that God has given us dominion over the entire Earth! It is ours, ladies. We are the daughters of a great God which means that it is His greatness that runs through our blood!

A plan without faith has no substance. We can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens us! Nothing or no one can stop us from being the head police chief, the next biggest social network, international designer, or President of the United States, except our selves! No one stopped

Madame CJ Walker from being the FIRST American Millionairess, despite the many obstacles in her way. No one stopped Italian Prime Minister, Cecile Kyenge, from being the first minority female prime minister. No one stopped Marry Barra from becoming the FIRST female CEO of General Motors. The examples are endless. Now it’s our turn to set the next one.

With that being said, the challenge is on…

We challenge you today to reevaluate the direction you’re headed in or standstill you’re stuck in. If you ever had a dream worth pursing, please begin pursuing! And if you’re content and happy with what you have, stay happy, but still encourage your friends and family to go after their dreams. Don’t let the thought of rejection scare you away from your dreams. Make sure you try to climb before you get too scared to fall! United together, we will be bigger, better, faster, and stronger.

Why limit yourself when you’re the daughter of a God who is limitless?
