Norma Campos Finesse + Tenacity

Chispa Magazine

Sales Executive at Costa Hollywood, Norma Campos is poised, wise, and full of life. Putting obstacles into perspective and embracing perseverance is her gift toward others, and we welcome this with open arms.

Q: Business person, team player or leader… which title best describes Norma Campos? Leader best describes me, I am a team player but I am far more successful leading the team.

Q: Is there a specific person or persons who helped pave your current walk? Yes my previous boss in Houston, Mariana Saldana. She is the owner of the Real Estate firm I managed. Through her example I learned many lessons. One of them was maintaining composure and class during challenges situations.

Q: How does your professional role play out within your personal life? For me, it’s the other way around. My personal life’s trials and tribulations have allowed me to develop my professional work ethics.

Q: How does Norma dream at night? Do you carry your dreams onto your business or life strategy? My dream is not only to be successful or be a super achiever in my career but my most important dream is that I affect people’s lives in a positive way.

Q: If Biography were to contact you regarding your life’s success…which strategy would you convey knowing your words would live a legacy? I would like to convey the strategy of endurance and survival in a tough world.

Q: Do you cling onto a specific faith? My faith in God is what has allowed me to overcome and persevere the most difficult times in my life.

Q: What would you address at a woman’s business conference; can you provide three mini-lessons? I would like to address the power and strength that all women have. We have to dig deep and find it. Women have the power to achieve anything they want. They have to stay focused on their goal and no matter how many times they get knocked down or put down, they need to find the power and strength to get right back up. Women should not let life’s trials stop them.

Q: Many businesswomen including artists, writers, are on the verge to identifying themselves as self-made Americans… how can you encourage them in today’s saturated and competitive markets? Everyone has their own uniqueness they can bring to their market. Music, fashion, art, science, and technology to name a few are constantly evolving and anyone can be part of that evolution process. All it takes is one great idea and a lot of determination to make it happen. Keep knocking on doors; one is bound to open.

Q: Have you reached your life’s purpose? No I have not reached my purpose. So many people that have heard my life story suggest I should write a book to encourage other women on defeating their circumstances. I may or may not write a book but I do want other women to hear my story.
