A “road warrior” is a person who travels, often as part of their job and works at the same time, hustling and on the move. Did you know we are not alive to live in a vegetative state? Unless there is a physical impediment preventing activity, our bodies were made to move.
The journey of life we travel can vary. And with all the twists and turns, we learn how to navigate. Some roads we travel have no bumps and we can coast. At times we may find ourselves comfortably asleep in the passenger seat. On the other hand, some roads we need to grab hiking boots and gear, so we can climb. All the while, still we are in motion—toward the destination for which we are designed.
God facilitates the gear we need to navigate the road we are on: car, boat, plane️ or good old walking shoes…
His promise is that He will provide (Philippians 4:19)… but my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. His promise is that no matter what we have, be satisfied because He will never leave us (Hebrews 13:5) and never abandon us. When we are on the road, everything around us continues to move and change: seasons, day light to evening, etc. Yes, it can get scary, but our responsibility is to not look down, instead, fix our eyes on the task ahead—He is a promise keeper.
