There’s often a big debate over which is better, patio or decking? After arguing with myself for a bit, I settled on the idea that patio is a better idea. Why? Because it’s easier to maintain. This means you won’t have trouble cleaning it and keeping it in good condition. Plus, it adds value as people can sometimes get put off by the sight of a large deck as it’s hard to maintain.
Of course, you need to ensure you get the best patio available. Buy one that lasts and looks stylish. Pick a color that suits your home and doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb. The benefit of a patio is that it turns your garden into a more practical place. You now have a place to put some comfy seats and host late night parties and BBQs.
A Mini Pond
Adding a small pond to your garden is great for many reasons. Firstly, it improves the look of the place dramatically; it’s like you’ve got a private park sitting in your back garden. Secondly, it gives you a chance to buy some pet fish, and your kids can have fun feeding them. Thirdly, add a killer water feature to your pond and you’ll give your property a huge price boost.
Getting a mini pond in your garden is easier than you think. Of course, you have to ensure you have enough room for it. Then, get someone to dig up the earth and install the pond. They range from classic wooden sheds to larger concrete ones. Figure out which one will suit your garden, and then start constructing your man cave.
