Everything You Need To Know About Saying I Do-Chispa MagazineIf you are engaged, you probably can’t wait to start your wedding planning. You have finally found the one, and you just can’t wait to tie the knot and give yourself to him forever.

While we don’t want to burst your bubble about planning your wedding and finally getting to say, “I do,” getting married can be stressful. In the movies, weddings always go to plan, everything is easy, there are no hiccups. But in real life, your wedding planning and the big day, may not be as simple as you have imagined.

There are a lot of things to think about. From choosing the perfect dress and picking the flowers, to booking the caterers and a wedding limo, there is a lot that you need to think about.

The day that you say your vows, will, of course, be magical, but it’s important to realize that it may not go without a hitch. That doesn’t matter, though; your wedding day is about celebrating yours and your partner’s love for one another. If everything isn’t perfect, it doesn’t matter.

To help you ensure that your big day is as special as possible, we have put together a cheat-sheet to everything you need to know about saying, “I do.”

Plan, Plan, Plan
Even if you do lots of planning, there is a chance that things could go wrong on your big day. However, the more planning you do, the less likely there will be any issues, as you will be on top of everything.

The best way to ensure that your special day goes well is to ensure that you are as organized as possible. If you take the time to plan out every detail of the day, double checking things, there is less of a chance of anything going wrong.

Be Excited
Far too many brides spend their time focusing on planning the wedding, getting stressed out, and forgetting to get excited. You will only get married once, so it’s important you take the time to enjoy everything.

Have fun trying on wedding dresses. Enjoy going for cake tasting sessions. Have a laugh with the groom when choosing the music. Don’t take things too seriously, as you will miss out on getting excited about things.

Make Your Wedding Fun
Your wedding day should be an occasion that is full of fun, it shouldn’t be something that is overly formal. Yes, weddings were traditionally formal events, but not anymore. Your wedding should be an occasion that is enjoyable, an event that you and your guests will remember for years, to come.

The best way to ensure that your wedding is a fun occasion is to think carefully about all the little details. Think about ways to include your guests in your wedding, such as using your guests photos on something; a guest photo wall, perhaps? Think about having features like a candy bar, games table, and vintage games machines to play on. There are so many ways you can make your big day fun, all it takes it a bit of creative thinking; that’s all.

To ensure you are properly prepared for getting married, make sure to take the above tips into account, and most of all, enjoy every minute and breathe… this is one of the most important seasons of your life.
