Vacheron Constantin recently celebrated the opening of its Miami Design District new boutique with an exclusive preview of a limited-edition timepiece and a series of private events at the prestigious Pérez Art Museum Miami.
Vincent Brun, president of Vacheron Constantin North America, says,” Miami’s Design District is centered in Miami’s historic and thriving arts community. Both tropical and urban, this neighborhood exemplifies the finest in arts and design. The new Vacheron Constantin boutique will welcome watch collectors and enthusiasts from all over the world to its 1,400 square feet of floor space in the Design District. We created a limited-edition Overseas Chronograph, limited to 30 pieces, exclusively for our Miami boutique in celebration of our opening. The exclusive timepiece features rose gold with an azure blue dial and blue rubber strap to echo the deep blue waters surrounding Miami. With water resistance to 150 meters and a chronograph timing mechanism, the limited edition watch goes from beach to boardroom in unparalleled style.”
In homage to the Design District’s artistic community, Brun and his team created a dedicated art wall to feature rotating exhibits from local and international artists, further connecting Vacheron Constantin with Miami. “Two custom-made Murano crystal chandeliers grace the center of the boutique, and warm wood paneling adds to the elegance and refinement of the décor to help create an environment of polished elegance and to invite clients to appreciate the culture, history, and tradition of excellence that defines Vacheron Constantin,” he explained. “In addition, a Vacheron Constantin trained watchmaker will be present to offer advice and personal service to collectors who visit.”
How will the Vacheron Constantin Design District boutique in Miami differ from their other locations? “The two main points of differentiation between the Design District boutique and our other boutiques is the art wall installation and our exclusive Overseas Chronograph timepiece made for our new Miami location,” he says.
And although he explains that every timepiece is different, their latest collection of in-house movements called Harmony, launching this June in honor of their 260th Anniversary, took them over seven years to create. “We look forward to sharing it with you,” says Brun with a smile.
