Five Gift Ideas for the Man in Your Life

Five Gift Ideas for the Man in Your Life-Chispa MagazineBuying gifts for the man in your life can be quite tricky, right? We think they tend to desire consumer items less and aren’t as vocal about what they do want. It can take a little bit of time to know what to get for them, especially if you don’t want to go down the standard socks and tie route. Here are some awesome ideas for him, that you might not have thought of.

Sportswear
If your man is a bit of a gym bunny, then some sportswear would be a smart option. These are the kinds of thing they need but might not treat themselves to. You could choose them some new trainers or a hoodie. You could get them a new gym bag or sports accessories like a water bottle or heart rate monitor. There are styles to suit all men’s taste and their chosen sporting activity, so you can’t go too far wrong.

Headphones
Headphones are such a trend at the moment, so they are pretty much a must to have. Not everyone wants the style that you get free with your phone; instead, you could get them something suitable for wearing at the gym or when running. If they would wear them on the commute to work, you could get a chunkier pair. Or, if your man prefers a more discreet pair, there are many choices available.

Alcohol
Is your man a bit of a connoisseur when it comes to his drinks? Now we don’t just mean a bottle of wine, but going for a man’s drink like an aged whiskey or cognac. Crown Royal XO is a popular choice of whiskey to go for. It will last them a while; they’ll enjoy it. And of course, drink responsibly as we don’t endorse drunkenness.

Artwork
As these are all gifts that you might not normally have thought of, artwork falls into that category. If they are into art and photography, they might have a favorite artist that you could choose a similar style of. You could even get a copycat print of one of their favorite pieces. If they don’t have a particular favorite, you could get one to suit their office or style. A Banksy print is a funky, modern option or you could choose a classic Kandinsky print. It still oozes style and color, though.

Foodie Gifts
They say the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, so a foodie option is a winner. It could be a kitchen accessory to help them cook if they like to do that, or it could be vouchers for a meal out or just their favorite dessert placed in a keep-sake basket. The choices for a food-related gifts are quite endless, but sure to please.
