Top Travel Ideas For 2016-Chispa MagazineAre you thinking of traveling soon? Then, you’re probably keen to know what the best travel ideas are for 2016. Ready?

Backpacking
Traveling is fun, but sometimes it’s hard to pick just one destination. There are so many amazing places in the world, how can you choose one place to go and visit? Well, how about you don’t? How about instead of traveling to one country, you go to a few? This is where the idea of backpacking came from. If you go backpacking, you travel to multiple places and countries during your trip. It’s different to a conventional vacation because you won’t be staying in fancy hotels all of the time. Instead, you pack your backpack full of clothes and essentials and start traveling around the world. You’ll stay in youth hostels and meet other travelers like you and it can be an eye-opening travel experience for lots of people. The only minor problem is that you’ll need a lot of free time to go backpacking. It’s not something you can do in just a couple of weeks. If you want the full experience, you need at least a month or two to travel around. You’ll find that many go backpacking when they’ve finished school or college and they go on a gap year traveling the world.

Can you go backpacking anywhere in the world? Yes, I suppose you can. All you need to do is pick an area of the world to explore. Some of the most popular backpacking routes are down by Thailand and Southeast Asia. While lots of people also enjoy backpacking through Central and Southern America. Of course, the choice is yours.

Rent A Boat
Instead of traveling around by land, why not travel by sea? Rent a boat and go on a personal cruise to wherever you like. There are plenty of companies that offer boat charters to individuals and groups. You rent a boat and get to sail to a gorgeous destination of your choosing. Now, you might be wondering why you’d rent a boat when you can just go on a cruise? Well, with cruises, you’re restricted to doing whatever is set for you to do. You don’t have a lot of freedom, and you’re sharing a cruise ship with hundreds of other people. But, when you rent a boat, you can take your time as you sail to your destination. It’s way more relaxing being on a boat on your own, or with a small group. It allows you to soak up your surroundings and enjoy the sights and scenes as you make your way to your final destination.

There are plenty of great places that you can enjoy with your chartered boat. One of the most popular is the Bahamas and surrounding area. You’ll find lots of different islands to sail between and visit during your trip. Perfect for anyone wanting to experience tropical life for a week or two.

Road Trip
One of my favorite travel ideas is going on a road trip, either on my own or with family and friends. The purpose of a road trip is that you get to experience a new place and see so many cool things along the way. What’s great about them is you don’t have to fly anywhere, depending on where you live. You could go on a road trip to somewhere else in the country you live in. Or, you could drive to neighboring countries too. So, you’re saving money on expensive flights, and getting to enjoy a great traveling experience at the same time.

However, that’s not to say that you can’t fly somewhere and then go on a road trip. In fact, I think this is a splendid idea. You could fly to somewhere like Australia or New Zealand and then rent a car. Once you’ve got your vehicle, you can drive up and down the country, seeing so many awesome things. Road trips are a great way to turn traditional vacation into something different. Instead of sitting by the hotel pool for a week, you’re driving around and visiting new places. It really gives you a chance to see more of the country you’re in.

Do these ideas tickle your fancy and get your urge to travel roaring inside you? Give one of these ideas a go; you’ll thank us, we know it.
