Create The Perfect Date Night With These Simple Tips

Create The Perfect Date Night With These Simple Tips-Chispa MagazineDoesn’t life often get in the way of your marriage? You both have different lives to lead, but one thing many couples do to keep the chispa alive, is have a date night. Date night may only come around once a month, but each spouse makes sure nothing gets in the way of being there for each other. If you haven’t had much in the way of dates with your other half lately, why not try these simple ideas to make date night perfect.

Start by making firm bookings for your evening to maximize the time you have together. Choose a good restaurant and reserve a table. Order the taxi, and buy the tickets for the show in advance. Whatever you have planned for your big night out, have it all organized well in advance. That’s not to say you can’t be spontaneous. There is nothing stopping you from changing your plans at the last minute.

Getting dressed up for a date night can make the whole evening feel really special. If you haven’t done this for a while, why don’t you both treat yourselves to some new outfits? You can check out the latest styles in mens suits online, and pick out a stunning cocktail dress for yourself. Even if you only treat yourself to a new handbag or pair of shoes, it can be nice to make the effort.

You may be reluctant to do this if you are hiring a babysitter, but try to turn off your phone while you are with your spouse. The evening is about just the two of you. Switching off from all other distractions allows you both to be engaged fully. Focus on how attractive your spouse is looking, or how gorgeous his eyes look tonight. Physical attraction starts with spending time looking! Equally, give him something to ogle too. A little bit of physical flirting can be good fun on a date night.

If you are eating a meal together, then take the time to savor it. When you have a family, or you are busy in life, food tends to be chewed and swallowed quickly without paying much attention to it. Take the time to enjoy all that is sensuous about your food. The texture, the smell and the flavor are important. You don’t have time to savor on a typical day, so make the most of it now.

Spoiling yourselves and spoiling each other is what makes date night wonderful. You can take the time just to enjoy each other in all those ways that were so easy back in the beginning. Now those moments are rarer, so you have to make each one count. Enjoy each touch and each glance; make the most of only having to think about the two of you together right now.

And, why not end with intimacy and closeness? This may be at home, or you may have the opportunity to check into a hotel suite. Hmm.. why not?
