Road Tripping Los Angeles, Seattle, Las Vegas

Road Tripping Los Angeles, Seattle, Las Vegas-Chispa MagazineFancy an awesome road trip before Christmas with friends? Or perhaps you want to use the pre-holiday season to plan a family road trip that you can all look forward to next year. Either way, taking to the open road on an itinerary that takes in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Seattle is the perfect way to enjoy a fun adventure with the perfect combination of cities, shopping, bright lights and beaches.

How To Travel
We think one of the best ways to travel through America is by RV. Owning an RV and buying a travel trailer is an ideal way to make the most of the time with family and friends and have a true adventure altogether. It gives you more freedom and flexibility, and you can still choose campgrounds with swimming pools, spas and lots of other amenities too. Or if you’d rather bask in the solitude of open land and get back to nature, there are plenty of simpler RV sites as well.

The Itinerary

San Francisco
Again, traveling by RV is means you’ll have lots of flexibility and you can with a laid-back plan. But here’s an idea of things to see along the way. From Los Angeles, you can head to the wonderful city of San Francisco. Here you’ll get to see the Golden Gate Bridge, sea lions at Pier 39 and the most crooked street in the world, Lombard Street. Of course, there’s also Alcatraz Island, Yerba Buena Gardens and The Legion of Honor. The San Francisco RV Resort is located just 15 miles away from the Bay’s most iconic attractions and make the perfect base for a few days of adventure.

Seattle
From San Francisco, you can drive through Sacramento and Portland before arriving in Seattle. Seattle is known as the Emerald City thanks to its verdant forests and mountains. It’s a really cool and invigorating city perfect for groups of friends and families too. You’ll want to visit Space Needle, Pike Place Market, and the Olympic Sculpture Park. Maple Grove RV Resort is just a fifteen-minute drive from Seattle so makes another great base.

Las Vegas
From Seattle, you can drive through Salt Lake City before arriving in Las Vegas. You’ll probably want to stop over for a couple of nights in Salt Lake City too. The Salt Lake City KOA is the perfect place to set up camp. Here you’ll find a charming small-town feel, with friendly faces, great organic food, and lots of outdoor adventure. It’s going to be a completely different vibe to what’s in store in Las Vegas. Arrive in Vegas for bright lights, pools, and dancing, however, there’s a ton of shopping to be done and plenty of gastronomical delights. The RV will be fine on its own for just one night! And know, there are a few choices of RV campgrounds including the family friendly Oasis resort.
